We are seeking talented engineers with deep technical knowledge and a passion for innovative solutions in electronics and embedded software to work on a variety of projects we currently have under way.
You will join a committed R&D team in the design and development of complex and novel functions for new product projects from concept to production in parallel with other design disciplines.
As well as being hands on in design you may also be called upon to supervise other firmware and electronics engineers, maintain high standards of design, develop relationships with external agencies, R&D bodies and design houses and provide technical support to sales and customer service functions.
You will have formal qualifications in electronic engineering, 8+ years experience including recent work in both electronics design (analog and digital) as well as embedded software development gained in the development of medium-volume integrated products in a high-tech manufacturing environment. Working within established product development processes, you are self driven and be known for your ability to work with and influence a wide cross section of technical and non- technical stakeholders. Proven skills in problem solving and knowledge of the fire business, value drivers, products and technologies would be an advantage.
