Due to expansion, we require a project manager to manage multiple projects within our R&D unit. You will lead a team to drive project deliverables for new products from concept to production encompassing multiple engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities will include hands-on project management, supervising design engineers, ensuring compliance to standards and processes, developing relationships with stakeholders, R&D bodies and design houses as well as providing support to product management and sales functions.
You will have recent project management experience in complex R&D environments in the development of medium volume integrated products in high tech manufacturing. Your forte will be working with and influence a wide cross section of stakeholders with strong leadership & people management skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, reliable with a strong focus on delivery and attention to details will be your natural abilities.
Formal qualification in engineering together with a post graduate qualification in project management or PMP accreditation will be an advantage. Knowledge of the fire business, value drivers, products and technologies will be highly regarded.
