Online Training
Xtralis offers a sales certification program for channel partners who wish to increase their revenues by selling VESDA and ICAM aspirating smoke detectors or OSID open-area smoke detection solutions. With the self-paced, e-learning program, partners can learn to quickly identify, qualify and close Xtralis business. The online training modules can be accessed from our Life Safety Partner Extranet, under the Training section.

Online Installer Training for VESDA VLC

Xtralis has designed special online training modules to teach technicians how to safely install a VESDA LaserCOMPACT (VLC) ASD in compliance with current codes. This modular approach enables an installer to approach the material in chronological sequence from project start to finish and revisit a specific module by topic. The installation process and procedures described in this program serve to update all VESDA VLC installation training modules prior to September 2009. We plan to develop other online installer training modules for other VESDA detectors. VESDA Accreditation
We offer accreditation training for channel partners who wish to sell, design, install, commission and maintain VESDA ASDs. The two-day, instructor-led course is offered several times per year in each of our regions – Americas, Asia Pacific and EMEA. A single-day course on design for sales engineers, designers or specifiers/consultants also can be delivered, as can a single-day course on engineering for installation, commissioning or maintenance engineers. ICAM Accreditation
We offer accreditation training for channel partners who wish to sell, design, install, commission and maintain Xtralis ICAM fire detectors. The two-day, instructor-led course is offered several times per year in Asia Pacific and EMEA. Please contact your local Xtralis office to inquire about schedules and pricing.

ASPIRE2 Master Class
The optional third day of VESDA and ICAM Accreditation Training is a “master class” for ASPIRE2, the software used to validate pipe-network designs. Topics covered include BOM, branches, air-handler protection, under floor, above ceiling, warehouse, harsh environment, atria design and high-airflow environments. Aspire2 is covered generically in VESDA and ICAM Accreditation Training, but the ASPIRE2 Master Class is highly recommended for those who will design pipe networks. ADPRO by Xtralis Security Solutions 
Xtralis provides technical training for certified security partners. The length of courses for ADPRO by Xtralis perimeter protection and enterprise IP security solutions varies from half a day to a full week, depending on the solution type and level of training required – basic or advanced. Participation requires a thorough knowledge of Windows and networking, and experience in security systems installation is an advantage. Continuing Education and Professional Development
Xtralis supports and encourages the education of professionals in the fire and security industry by offering continuing education programs that cover topics from the latest safety and security technologies and their applications to regulatory compliance.
