Siemens Building Technologies Selects OSID by Xtralis
Birmingham, UK (FIREX) – 18 May, 2011 – Siemens Building Technologies, the world’s leading provider of safe, secure and energy efficient solutions for buildings and building infrastructure, have selected the award winning OSID technology by Xtralis™, the company behind VESDA®, to strengthen their global smoke detection offering for large open spaces where fire detection presents unique challenges.
Siemens Building Technologies adds OSID to its leading suite of solutions of fire detection products to be made available to its customers globally. Upon concluding tests of the OSID product, Siemens was able to validate the value proposition it provides to its customer base.
